WORKS WITH VISTA and WINDOWS7 even 64 bit!!!
ACT makes you upgrade to a new version to work with Vista and
that version uses a different database so is therefore NOT compatible
with your older Version. ToddayCRM uses the
same Database as XP. Another reason to own Our CRM
instead. Microsoft changed the way that they want all
software to work so most companies happily went along because
of course they want to resell you the program. We don't
work that way Our software is NOT written with Microsoft tools
so we can offer you cross platform from 98,Me, 2000, 2003, XP,
XP Pro, All vista's we still work. We do however Support
Microsoft SQL
Our
approach was to look at this from the consumers
standpoint. What do you dislike about ACT and some of
the other systems. Cost was the biggest thing so we
addressed this in a unique way. Everyone else shows a basic
cost but in order to get what your company needs, the extras
pile up to astronomical prices. Our features are
included Like users and Internet access. You can
have a office in China and that data can be seen in corporate
on our smallest program. NO one else can say that!
 Number
of users is another reason to use ToddayCRM. Our
software comes with 15 Users as standard even in our smallest
version. Why well databases are NOT designed to limit
you to the number of users that you have, that is only a
marketing ploy to sell force you to buy more software.
We limit you to 15 users only for speed sake. In other words
you are going to have to upgrade some hardware in order to get
adequate speed over 15 users. We offer a Local version
which allows as many users as you wish or your server can
handle. Or we have a Cloud version that uses MS SQL
databases linked to the Internet.
You
can email with attachments right from ToddayCRM. Not
only can you email and include attachments but we keep all of
you paperwork whether it's an XL Spreadsheet or a document or
any other kind of attachment that you can send with email is
also "attached" to that client/customer for easy retrieval
later. To find a document just search for the customer
and look at the attachment file and there is a link all
documents pertaining to that client. It's like having an
automatic filing system.
We
are adding new things all the time but unlike our competitors
these features are available to you at no cost as long as you
have a valid service contract! Of course we also offer
custom additions at a nominal cost but these ARE extra.
